Michaela here.
Creative to the core, I experience too much structure as oppressive. However, through lots of trial and error, I’ve learned that a certain amount of structure can actually allow me to flourish. It creates defined boundaries in which I can be my most creative self.
This same type of structure is critical for an organization embarking on a branding process. Although it’s tempting to dive straight into assets like logos, websites, and business cards—the best brands spend ample time submitting themselves to a structured branding process.
Since the inception of Long Winter Media, we’ve experimented with a branding process that allows just the right amount of structure—strict enough that assumptions can be challenged, but loose enough that participants are free to dream and create. Through experimenting, we’ve honed in on seven scalable steps that work whether a group is need of branding, brand clarity, or re-branding.
To learn more about how our branding process might serve you, send me an email Michaela [at] LongWinterMedia.com for a free consultation and .pdf that outlines our process.
